Hello everyone, this is an overview of the Twitter spaces which occurred earlier today!

Development

Now that the mint is coming to an end we plan to go full force into the development of Pixelmon. We have short, mid and long term plans to ensure that the entire time leading up to the release of our game is full and alive with content, continuous updates, demo releases, sneak peeks, development updates, competitions, games, utility, airdrops and more. We are so excited to show you guys what we plan to do with Pixelmon and what we have coming up this year.

We are working with Magic Media and they will be developing Pixelmon. Magic Media has worked with the likes of Ubisoft, Activision, Blizzard and Disney just to name a few, and now they’re adding Pixelmon to that list.

Concerns

We would also like to address some of the concerns that arose during and after the Dutch auction. Before our launch, we minted the team and community vault an allocation of 330 Pixelmon. 100 of that was to be split between 20 staff and the rest held in the community vault for future distribution. This caused some confusion when we launched the Dutch auction as people thought that the total public mint would be at 7750, but due to the allocated 330 mints at the start, it continued to 8080. Due to this, the pace slowed down after hitting 7750 as people believed we had sold out, which in turn, negatively affected the secondary volume. This was an oversight on our end and we are making a commitment to continually add value to the Generation 1 Pixelmon.

Our goal is for you to be rewarded for not only holding, but also playing the game. We hope the total value generated from this will reach beyond your initial investment! The value that Generation 1 Pixelmon will bring to holders will be greater than all other generations coming in the future.

Another small concern was regarding Pixelmon’s 3D models from our earliest prototype versions. We borrowed some common similarities from pre-existing 3D models. We only used a few of these pre-existing models to TEST our custom voxelization system and ensure everything was working as intended before progressing into creating the actual Pixelmon. These prototypes are NOT included in the NFTs or in the GAME.

Meet Gog. The toughest Pixelmon out there!

Doxxing (from Syber)

In regards to my doxxing, I originally planned to do so at reveal and to celebrate in a fun way, however, things have changed. Due to the death threats the team and I have been receiving, I will have to delay it until sometime in future once these threats are no longer of concern. I am open to privately doxxing myself to a few key individuals in the NFT space that are trusted and reliable, be that NFTllama, Zeneca, JRNY, Wil or anyone that wants to know more about me or the project and talk face to face. That way, the team and I can be held accountable for the game and everything related to Pixelmon. We are here to stay.

For those wanting to know a bit more about me as a founder, my passion is game development and my plans for Pixelmon are endless. We raised over $70 million and I plan to create a game that’s worth 10 times that. We will also continue to be transparent with how funds are used throughout the entire process. Neither the team nor I plan on taking any cut of the funds for our personal gain, as we’re in this for Pixelmon!

Our game development team at magic media, however, is fully doxxed. They are experts in the gaming space and you can find more about them here.”

Funds & Spending

We’ve seen a lot of people curious as to what the money will be spent on, where it’s going, how we’re managing it, and more. To address this in a simple way for now: the quality of our game will match the funding we raised. We’ve seen people comparing the budget of other games to Pixelmon, saying these games only needed X amount of funding, but we cannot fully compare ourselves to them. Our goal is to disrupt the industry and match the quality of these AAA games while also giving Pixelmon holders the opportunity to be rewarded for their time spent playing.

Also, a portion of those funds will be going towards taxes so that we can legally and ethically operate our company. All the funds after tax will be used to develop Pixelmon, our brand, and continuously deliver value to our holders.

Right now our team is working in full force to support the community. We are split between game development, modeling, contract work, metadata additions, discord management, and more. We plan to use a portion of the funds raised to onboard a much larger team in the near future so that we will constantly have enough staff working in every area. This is to ensure that we have the ability to consistently innovate, grow, and cultivate Pixelmon into something even more incredible.

Reveal & Additional notes

At reveal you will have the option to hatch your Pixelmon or keep it unhatched. Hatched Eggs will come alive as a Generation 1 Pixelmon while unhatched Pixelmon will remain as an Egg, similar to the mint vials of CloneX. We also have many other new and innovative additions to our Pixelmon and Metadata that we’re excited for everyone to see at reveal.

We already have plans to expedite the release of our token and we are including the ability to stake your Generation 1 Pixelmon NFT to earn more. The Generation 1 Pixelmon is the cornerstone of our entire game. Therefore, no matter what is being developed, we will incorporate it in some way throughout our ecosystem to ensure every owner of a Generation 1 is continuously rewarded. This will include, but not limited to, additional NFT airdrops, Token airdrops, Land airdrops, increased token earning, increased in-game earning, and more rewards.

That’s it from us for now. We have so many announcements planned to release in these coming weeks and months!
